Many audio/visual products and game consoles can connect to the home network or Internet but are only equipped with Ethernet interfaces; however most homes don't have Ethernet readily available close to the entertainment center. The Ubicom Home Media Bridge solves this issue by bridging Ethernet to an 802.11a/b/g/n network. Wireless 802.11n has emerged as a viable technology for High Definition (HD) video streaming in the home environment and will become the dominant standard for home networking. For consumers with one or more network capable device in the entertainment center, this is by far the most economical method of connecting to the wireless network.

802.11n-Ready

The Ubicom Home Media Bridge is compliant with draft 2.0 802.11n and seamlessly connects with Ubicom Wireless Routers .
