With the Ubicom platform it is easy to build different product variants to satisfy service provider requirements. The StreamEngine 5000™ series of processors can meet the cost points of retail routers yet have the performance to be deployed in Fiber-to-the Home gateways. One platform and one codebase can be the core of many end product variants and significantly lower development costs. An ADSL2+ gateway is just one example that we chose to build, our customers have built many more.

Management in a Small Footprint

We built TR-069 from the ground up to run in an embedded environment. By utilizing a unique parsing technology, the amount of memory used to decode and respond to management messages is kept very small. Performance remains steady while the product is in operation and reduces cost by minimizing the amount of firmware FLASH memory.
