President and CEO
Cathal Phelan is a seasoned professional with over 20 years' experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to Ubicom, Mr. Phelan held several leadership positions during a 15-year tenure at Cypress Semiconductor.
Darrell Burns
Vice President of Engineering
Darrell Burns joined Ubicom in August 2000. He is responsible for all of Ubicom's hardware and software design activity.
Lynn Couillard
Vice President of North America Sales
Lynn Couillard joined Ubicom in December 2007 with over 12 years of experience in large and strategic account management. Ms. Couillard joins the Ubicom team following an 8-year tenure at Broadcom Corporation.
David Fotland
Chief Technology Officer
David Fotland joined the company in December 2000. In the newly created position of Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for all aspects of defining, designing, and developing next-generation Internet processor chips and connectivity solutions.
Gangesh Ganesan
Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Gangesh Ganesan joined the company in March 2007 with the goal of growing Ubicom's revenue. Prior to joining Ubicom, Mr. Ganesan was director of strategic marketing and business development for the Ethernet/Enterprise Business Unit at Marvell Semiconductor.
Jon Gibbons
Vice President of VLSI Engineering
Jon Gibbons joined Ubicom in October 2000. He is responsible for Ubicom's VLSI development. Prior to joining Ubicom, he was the director of workstation design at SGI where he led the development of MIPS- and Intel-based products.
Sener Ilgen
Vice President of Software Engineering
Sener Ilgen joined Ubicom in September 2002. He is responsible for Ubicom's software development activities. Prior to joining Ubicom, he led the mobile graphics software efforts at Intel and Chips and Technologies.
Rebecca Keogh
Vice President of Human Resources
Rebecca Keogh joined Ubicom in August 2000. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Keogh was a director of human resources at SONICblue (formerly S3), a leader in graphics acceleration and consumer electronics.
Keith Morris
Vice President of Marketing
Keith Morris is responsible for leading Ubicom's product marketing, business development and customer engineering activities. Prior to joining Ubicom, he served as senior director of product management and marketing at Applied Microcircuits Corporation, a market share leader in the network processor market.
Gahan Richardson
Vice President of Business Development
Gahan Richardson joined the company in July 2006 to establish a business development group focused on enhancing relationships with key OEMs, silicon suppliers and developers of complementary technology. Prior to joining Ubicom, he held several management positions at Cypress Semiconductor in product marketing and applications.
Ty Truong
Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller
Ty Truong has more than 15 years of engineering and financial expertise with large Fortune 500 companies and startups. This diverse background has enabled him to successfully manage all of Ubicom's financial and accounting activities as the company's vice president of finance and corporate controller.
