Technical Papers and Industry Memberships
Qualcomm Atheros has deep roots in the radio design and digital signal processing academic world. As a result, we are on the forefront of the industry’s technology developments expressed in some of the papers provided here, from how Qualcomm Atheros is helping to connect the utilities smart grid with the appliances in the smart home over powerline and low-power Wi-Fi®, to how to maximize wireless network performance with technical enhancements to 802.11n.
We believe one of Qualcomm Atheros’ most important roles in the world of connectivity technologies is to help create global standards that enable interoperability between wireless and wired devices, regardless of the product manufacturer or the silicon provider that has contributed to the product.
