Ubicom Logo Usage Guidelines

The following information addresses the correct treatment of the Ubicom corporate logo for use in advertising, technical communications, marketing collateral, and other printed, Web, or visual materials.

General Guidelines

The Ubicom corporate logo may only be used in connection with the promotion of Ubicom products and not for other goods and/or services. Do not modify or recreate the Ubicom logo under any circumstances. Use the artwork provided by Ubicom, Inc.

The following trademark attribution must be used when featuring the Ubicom logo:

Ubicom and the Ubicom logo are trademarks of Ubicom, Inc.

The Ubicom Logo

The Ubicom logo, consisting of the Ubicom comet symbol and the Ubicom logotype followed by a "®" trademark symbol in the horizontal configuration, is illustrated below.

There are three versions of the Ubicom logo — color, black, and reverse. Whenever possible, the Ubicom logo should be presented in its full-color version.

Minimum Size and Staging Requirements

The Ubicom logo is most effective when surrounded by as much open space as possible.

Clear space is defined as an area that is completely free of other objects or elements, including, but not limited to, type, border, edges, other logos, words, graphics, slogans, numbers, and design features, or symbols, company names, products, and/or services.

Minimum size requirements (width x height) for the Ubicom logo are 100 x 32 pixels in for the Web, and 1.389 x 0.444 inches in print and other visual materials.

We have provided a color list below that will assist in the correct reproduction of the Ubicom logo in the most commonly used media formats.

Incorrect Usage

Always use the authorized electronic logo artwork provided by Ubicom.

  • Do not distort the Ubicom logo in any way.
  • Do not create other versions of the Ubicom logo.
  • Do not create spot color versions of the Ubicom logo.
  • Do not create floating versions of the Ubicom logo.
  • Do not alter the color of the Ubicom logo.
  • Do not add elements to the Ubicom logo.
  • Do not alter or remove the text.

  1. Ubicom's trademark is "Ubicom." The "Ubicom" trademark should not be used in an abbreviated form.

  2. In the title, in the first occurrence in text, and in other prominent instances, (i.e., in bold, in header or footer), always follow the "Ubicom" mark with the registered trademark symbol ®.

  3. Follow the term "Ubicom" with an appropriate generic term such as "processor."

  4. In each publication that uses the "Ubicom" trademark, provide a trademark attribution that includes all Ubicom trademarks in that publication, material, or item. For example:

    Ubicom, the Ubicom logo, StreamEngine, and the StreamEngine logo are trademarks of Ubicom, Inc.

  5. You may not modify or recreate the "Ubicom" trademark under any circumstances. You many not translate the trademark for non-English documents.
