The OpConn ONU SoC supports many advanced features including high- speed embedded microprocessor for board and device control, fast packet engine for traffic classification and processing, as well as traffic manage- ment for advanced QoS handling. It can be easily managed from an OLT using 802.3 2005 standard OAM messaging and China CTC OAM extensions. This feature-rich and cost-effective device is ideal for the emerging high- volume FTTx deployments in China, Asia, and other areas in the world.
