The Ubicom Internet audio player reference design kit includes a complete system level solution for internet radio, streaming music services, wireless DLNA music and local music playback from USB thumb drives or SD cards. This design can be used for standalone Internet Radio Player products as well as a module to add this functionality into other existing product categories, like A/V receivers, TV Sound bars and iPod docks. The reference design kit consists of a board optimized for features/functionality, form factor and cost; reference software that includes all the functionality required for wireless DLNA audio playback; all design files in source for both hardware and software for easy modification; and tools to modify the software to add or change features.
